# Release notes - 3.5.6

## **Infrastructure: New Egress IP Addresses**

Oswald is migrating to new egress IP addresses as part of an infrastructure update. This change ensures continued stability and scalability of the platform.

* *How it works:* If your organisation has whitelisted Oswald's IP addresses in your firewall or network settings, you will need to update your whitelist to include the new IP addresses before the rollout date. The new acceptation IP address is: `35.187.91.27`, the new production IP address is: `34.62.5.96`

No action is needed if your organisation does not use IP whitelisting.

## **What this means for you**

**This release is an infrastructure change only,** it does not affect chatbot functionality, conversation flows, or integrations.

**Action may be required for specific customers:**

* If your organisation uses IP whitelisting, that means you will need to add the new acceptation and production IP to your whitelist **before 19/05/2025** to avoid any disruption. Please coordinate this with your IT or network team in advance.
* **All other customers:** No action is needed. Your Oswald chatbot will continue to function normally after the rollout.

⚠️ **Please note:** An acceptance environment rollout is scheduled for **05/05/2025**, during which there may be brief downtime in the acceptance environment. This does not affect production.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the Oswald team.
