Release notes - 3.5.1
UPDATE: RELEASE CANCELED Release date: 12/10/2025 (early morning)
Query target language for contextualizer
Improve multilingual search results with a new language targeting option. You can now optionally define a target language for the contextualizer, allowing it to translate user questions into the main language of your knowledge base. This improves the quality of search queries and ensures more accurate answer generation when users ask questions in a different language than your data.
How it works: In the contextualizer configuration, you can now specify a targetLanguage parameter. This will instruct the system to rewrite and translate incoming user questions into that target language before performing a search. This is especially useful for multilingual bots that have most of their documentation or knowledge base in a single language.
Bug fixes
Bot toggle display issue: Fixed a bug where toggle settings were not rendering properly in the settings panel.
What this means for you
This update doesn’t affect your current setup unless you choose to configure the new contextualizer option. If your bot supports multiple languages and relies heavily on a single-language knowledge base, we recommend trying out the target language setting to improve answer quality.
As always, no action is required on your side unless you want to make use of the new feature. If you have questions or want help configuring the new setting, feel free to contact us.
